Ok... I am taking a break from knitting for a little bit.. on to crocheting.. I cannot believe I still remember the basics of how to do this..

I am repairing a tree skirt my husband's grandma had made.  The stories I've heard about her.. she sounds like one cool lady.  I would have LOVED her.. who else would race her grandson (my hubby) from LA to Vegas.. and win?    LOL..

Here is the pic of her tree skirt.  I am trying to do it justice in honor of her memory..

Wow.. I looked at the view counts on the numbers of people reading my blog.. wow.. I'm honored.   Guess I have to take this blogging a little more seriously... Thanks for the time to read this, and for the love.

As I am a newbie in the knitting business.. I have been busy teaching myself new techniques on knitting.. Who knew I would find a hobby that is so enjoyable, and it relieves stress..  I don't know what or why it is.. but I thrive on learning new things.. and love a good challenge..  Case in point:

Yes!  I did teach myself this.. AFTER learning how to knit on circular knitting needles, and making my first hat, and then mastering the magic loop technique on said hat.. Guess what?  No Frogging on my first hat!! How awesome is that?

My confidence was restored, and I needed yet another challenge.. Learning To Knit On Double Pointed Needles (DPNs)   After much procrastination, I caved in and reviewed countless You Tube Videos... I finally got it!  Yes. Sir. Ree.   (See above pics)

Now, I feel I can make almost anything using my newly learned techniques,  A thumb gusset..  or a hat for a mouse.. Yes. Sir. Ree.

     Isn't Teddy just a great friend or what?  Always ready to get off the bed to model something..

These gloves are a bit big for me.. got carried away with the casting on process.. not a big deal or anything.. they are basically a medium/large..  and cozy!

A special thanks for my much maligned antique Teddy Bear.. and a very loving and patient (or somewhat patient) husband..

A couple of new offerings..

Hi Everyone.   After a couple of crazy days.. I'm back.   This pretty headband that looks like candy sprinkles was inspired by my little grand daughter, she is a doll!  Now.. if I can get her over here, I will post pictures of her modeling this one.. 

After a couple of crazy days I'm back on track.

I have more pics, and one was inspired by my grand daughter.  I promise to take a picture of her soon, when she comes over for a visit, hopefully, wearing her headbands that I can make for your little one.

My shipping prices have been fixed.. I was wondering why I have had a lack of interest.. oops..  Proper Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance!!  (As my dad always used to say)

The more I thought about the products I am creating, and the weather is turning colder,  a sudden inspiration jumped into my head.. My new name for Facebook and Etsy is CrazyCozyChick.

I think this will work a lot better.  Everything I am making is very cozy oriented.   :)
